Legendary wicketkeeper-batter MS Dhoni has recently joined Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, which is scheduled to start from March 28. After a forgetful season, five-time champions CSK will look to bounce back in the upcoming IPL.
Ahead of the tournament, Dhoni also known as captain cool, was recently seen in a fun and relaxed mood at the team camp, and the moment quickly went viral on social media.

In a video shared by Sarfaraz Khan on Instagram, Dhoni can be seen spending time with Sarfaraz’s one-year-old son. The clip shows Dhoni playing with the child, gently tossing a ball and enjoying a light-hearted moment.

Known for his calm and serious attitude on the field, Dhoni’s friendly and caring side caught everyone’s attention. Fans reacted warmly to the video, with many praising the sweet interaction.
Sarfaraz had welcomed his baby boy on October 21, 2024, in Mumbai. The child’s name has not been made public yet. Interestingly, the birth came just two days after Sarfaraz scored his first Test century, 150 against New Zealand in Bengaluru, and just before his 27th birthday.

Sarfaraz is coming into the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season in good form after a strong domestic run. He scored a quick 150 against Goa in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he also impressed with 329 runs, including a brilliant unbeaten 100 off 47 balls against Assam and a quick 73 off 22 against Rajasthan.
CSK's IPL 2026 schedule
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings have already started their preparations for IPL 2026 in Chennai. They will begin their campaign against the Rajasthan Royals on March 30 in Guwahati at the Barsapara Stadium.
After that, CSK will return home to face the Punjab Kings on April 3. They will then travel to play against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 5, before coming back to Chennai to take on Delhi Capitals on April 11.
