Prabhsimran Singh sends emotional message to PBKS fans
In a video shared by PBKS' official Instagram handle, Prabhsimran asked the fans to stay calm, making sure that the team will give its best to reach the playoffs and even the title.
"Sat Sri Akal, Sher Squad! I'm speaking to you from Dharamshala. We've certainly lost four matches, but we're still fourth on the table, and we'll make sure to qualify and lift the trophy. I can only say that your support is very important to us. Support us and turn Dharamshala red. The next match is against Mumbai, we have to win it and make a comeback from there. We will lift the trophy. Support us; your support is very much needed," said Prabhsimran Singh.
Next challenge for Punjab Kings
The Shreyas Iyer-led side will lock horns against Mumbai Indians (MI) in their upcoming IPL 2026 clash on Thursday, May 14 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
It will be a key game for PBKS as their qualification depends heavily on the result of this game.
Prabhsimran Singh's strong IPL 2026 campaign
In the ongoing season, Prabhsimran Singh has been a top performer for the Shreyas Iyer-led side, amassing 382 runs at an average of 42.22 and a great strike rate of 169.02, with the help of four fifties.
However, Singh has failed to score big in the last three fixtures, where PBKS suffered defeats, which caused them to lose the top spot in the points table. Currently, the Punjab-based franchise stands at fourth place, with 13 points in hand after playing 11 games.
