Axar Patel-led Delhi Capitals (DC) finally put an end to their losing streak, after defeating Riyan Parag's Rajasthan Royals (RR) by seven wickets in their IPL 2026 clash on Friday, May 1 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. During the first innings, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav got engaged in a fun banter, as the moment is going viral on social media.

The fun moment occurred in the 12th over of the first innings when Jadeja came out to bat after the dismissal of Dhruv Jurel. Spotting Kuldeep was nearby, Jadjea swung his bat to scare him, but Kuldeep read the move early, remained unfazed, and responded with a gentle push.

Just when Jadeja was about to get his bat checked by the umpire, Kuldeep pushed him again. Here is the clip of the light-hearted moment:
However, DC successfully chased the target of 226 and recorded their highest chase in the history of IPL. In the second innings, KL Rahul and Pathum Nissanka starred with stunning half-centuries to seal the win with five balls to spare.
Ashutosh Sharma and Tristan Stubbs applied the finishing touches with unbeaten knocks of 25 off 15 and 18 off 11, respectively.

After winning against RR the Axar Patel-led side sit at the sixth place with eight points in hand after playing nine games in the ongoing IPL 2026 season, at a net run rate of -0.895. It will be interesting to see if DC can continue their positive momentum in the competition.
DC will lock horns against Ruturaj Gaikwad-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their upcoming IPL 2026 clash on May 5. The Delhi-based side will aim for revenge after the earlier loss at Chepauk.
