Mumbai Indians (MI) will lock horns against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their upcoming IPL 2026 clash on Sunday, May 10 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Raipur. Ahead of a big game, Former MI skipper Rohit Sharma found himself in a awkward fan interaction, as the clip is making round on social media.

In the video clip, the MI players were going towards the team bus and Rohit was approached by a female fan for a selfie and the former India captain agreed. Just when the picture was about to be take, the fan's mobile phone got switched off.

“Mera phone off hogya,” said the female fan. 

 

 

Then the fan was seen asking for another phone. Meanwhile, Rohit started walking in a hurry, was left in a awakward spot as the confusion continued around him. The star opener was seen frustrated while trying to understand the whole scenario.

"Toh abhi kya karu mai phir?" replied Rohit.

However, despite the frustration, the fan managed to have a selfie with the 39-year-old batter. Apart from the interaction, the good part is that Rohit Sharma will be seen in action in MI's next game against RCB after achieving full fitness.

Rohit Sharma's phenomenal comeback in IPL 2026

Rohit Sharma made his comeback in MI's clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) after suffering a hamstring injury earlier in the tournament. The former India skipper announced his arrival in a fiery fashion, scoring 84 off 44 balls against LSG, showcasing the vintage "Hitman" vibes.

So far after playing 5 innings, Rohit has managed to score 221 runs at an average of 44.20 and an impressive strike rate of 174.02. Given the stats, it wouldn't be wrong to say that MI terribly missed Rohit's services in a torrid season.
