RCB will now face PBKS in IPL 2025 qualifier.

Dinesh Karthik lavished praise on Royal Challengers Bengaluru after their dominating six-wicket win against Lucknow Super Giants at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. With this win, RCB sealed their spot for the qualifiers, where they will face Punjab Kings (PBKS) on May 29 at the New Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in New Chandigarh (Mullanpur).

Karthik, who is currently serving as RCB's mentor and batting coach, suggested the side to stay calm and remember their bigger goal to win the title.

"I think this room believes there is a bigger goal for that - We need to stay calm, all I want to say is remember the bigger goal - We have bigger things to play for and let's make sure it happens for us this time" said Dinesh Karthik in post match presentation.

Karthik also praised RCB batter Jitesh Sharma for his unbeaten match-winning knock against LSG. The former RCB wicketkeeper-batter revealed that Jitesh worked extremely hard during the off-season and put a lot of effort into understanding how to chase big totals and how to stay calm in such situations.
