SRH vs RR IPL 2026: Sunrisers Hyderabad debutant Praful Hinge grabbed all the attention with a dream start to his Indian Premier League career. The young pacer from Vidarbha made an immediate impact by picking up three wickets in his very first over. He dismissed Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel and Lhuan-dre Pretorius, all for zero, putting his team in complete control early on.
With this, Hinge became the first bowler in IPL history to take three wickets in the opening over of a match.
He didn’t stop there. In his next over, he struck again by dismissing Riyan Parag, finishing with brilliant figures of 4 for 6 in just two overs. It was a perfect debut and a performance to remember.

Who is Praful Hinge?
Hinge is a right-arm fast bowler who plays for the Vidarbha team in domestic cricket. He was picked up by Sunrisers Hyderabad at his base price of ₹30 lakh.
The 24-year-old made his senior debut in the 2024–25 season. So far, he has played 10 First-Class matches and taken 27 wickets at an average of 26.66. In List A cricket, he has 5 wickets from 6 matches, and he has played one T20 game, where he picked up a wicket.

Hinge has also been training at the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai since 2022. In 2024, he also attended a 15-day training camp in Brisbane to further improve his skills.
