Rashid Khan scripts history, clocks massive World Record during SA20 clash

Afghanistan's spin wizard Rashid Khan, who is widely considered one of the finest bowlers of his generation, has yet again clocked a massive record to storm into the history books.

In the SA20 2025 clash, captain Rashid Khan led MI Cape Town to the final. During their Qualifier 1 match against league leaders Paarl Royals, MI Cape Town secured a 39-run victory, with Rashid Khan contributing significantly with two wickets.

In that same match, the Afghan superstar Rashid Khan leg-spinner made history by breaking a major world record.
 

Rashid Khan's 2/33 spell in the SA20 2025 Qualifier 1 has propelled him to the top of the all-time T20 wicket-takers list.  He now holds the record with 633 wickets, surpassing Dwayne Bravo's previous record of 631 wickets in 582 matches.  Impressively, Rashid Khan achieved this milestone in significantly fewer games, just 461.
