Batting great Virat Kohli has arrived in India ahead of the three-match ODI series against South Africa, which is scheduled to start from November 30, and the opener clash will take place at JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi. This will be Kohli's first cricketing outing in India after the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, where his franchise Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final to win their inagural title.

Kohli who already retired from Tests and T20Is, last donned the India jersey during the three-match ODI series against Australia, where he got out without scoring a single run in the first two ODIs, and after that, he played a match-winning 74 off 81 runs knock alongside Rohit Sharma, who scored 121* to save the series whitewash.
