Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza has climbed back to the No.1 spot in the ICC Men’s T20I All-Rounder Rankings after leading his team to a strong start in the T20 World Cup.

Zimbabwe's T20 World Cup opener

Zimbabwe began their campaign in style with an impressive eight-wicket win over Oman in Colombo. Raza played a key role in the victory. He bowled four tight overs, finishing with figures of 1/17 to help restrict Oman to just 103 at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground. Later, he calmly hit the winning runs to seal the chase.

His all-round performance helped him move up one place in the latest rankings update, taking him past Pakistan’s Saim Ayub to reclaim the top position, a spot he had first reached late last year.

Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan was another big mover among batters. His 73 against the USA lifted him four spots to third overall in the rankings.
