Dream11's association with Team India as title sponsor is over.

In 2023, Dream11 entered a 4-year contract with the BCCI.

BCCI is looking for the next course of action two weeks ahead of T20 Asia Cup 2025.

In the aftermath of central government passing the 'Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill 2025' in both Houses of Parliament, banning real money games, Dream11 will no longer be Team India’s title sponsor. Ahead of the T20 Asia Cup 2025, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Devajit Saikia said that Dream11's association with BCCI is over and they will be looking for a new sponsor.

“Looking at the current situation and keeping in mind that the bill has become an act, it would be really difficult for BCCI to continue with dream11. So. the association with Dream11 is over and BCCI will look for future course of action (new sponsor),” Saikia told Sports Tak in an exclusive interaction.

"We have always been a law abiding company and have always conducted our business in compliance with the law. While we believe that progressive law would have been the way forward, we will respect the law and fully comply with 'Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill 2025',” Team India’s former title sponsor said in a statement last week.

In addition to Team India, Dream11 is also the official fantasy partner of the Indian Super League (IPL).

Dream11 will not face any penalties as the existing contract has a clause that safeguards the sponsor if their primary business faces a ban from the government. As of now, Dream11 has no obligation to make any further payments to the BCCI for the remaining of the contract.
