Australia the second spot on ICC World Test Championship Points Table after they won the first Ashes Test against England at the Gabba. Aussies currently have 100 per cent of the points on offer.

England currently have 9 points in their kitty.

The Aussies bundled out England for 147 in the first innings before David Warner‘s 94 and Travis Head’s 152 helped the hosts to end up with a mammoth 278-run lead. England showed a better fight in the second innings with Joe Root and Dawid Malan’s record 162-run stand for the third wicket.

However, a collapse on the morning of Day 4 meant that they were all-out for 297, setting a mere target of 20 which was chased down by Australia for the loss of one wicket.

Sri Lanka continues to remain at the top spot after winning both their matches in the home series against the West Indies. Pakistan with 3 wins and a loss is at third place (75%). India on the other hand, is at fourth position with 3 wins, 1 loss, and 2 draws (58.33%).

Pakistan recently defeated Bangladesh 2-0 in the Test series. With more than 2 days washed out due to the incessant rain, Babar Azam and his men became the first side to declare with a sub-300 score and end up winning by an innings.

Bangladesh on the other hand, are yet to secure a point.

England and New Zealand are in sixth and seventh place with 23.33% and 16% of the points gained. The WTC Champions haven’t registered a win yet as their first series ended in a 0-1 loss to India. The English team might have secured more points than the Kiwis but on points table New Zealand are above England.
