Indian stars Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah are set to continue their A+ grade in the upcoming Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) central contract list for 2025-26. As per sources close to Sports Tak, the BCCI will announce the central contract list by the end of this week. Indian Cricket Board will add new names to the list after five Test match series against England.

Sports Tak earlier reported that apart from Rohit, Jasprit and Virat, middle order batter Shreyas Iyer is set to earn back his central contract after going through the grind in domestic cricket and playing a vital role in India's ICC Champions Trophy 2025 triumph as their highest run-scorer. But, Sports Tak has learnt that Ishan Kishan may not get a central contract.

"We have almost finalised the new contract for players in all categories, and it will be issued in the public domain soon in a day or two" A top source from BCCI told Sports Tak on the condition of anonymity.

"After the England tour, a new contract will be formalised, keeping in mind the recent performance of the player's source added.

When asked about the players who will get the A+ contract, the source added that there will be a few names added to the list on a later date.

"It’s likely to be the same, and a few new arrivals may be added on a later date. The source added that the coach and selectors have given their opinion, and we will close it soon" source also said.

Team India's next international assignment will be the upcoming five-test match series against England, which is scheduled to start from June 20. After the red ball series against England, The Men in Blue will travel to Bangladesh for the white ball series, where Team India will play a three-match T20I series followed by a three-match ODI series.
