Champions Trophy 2025: India vs Pakistan will take place on this date, check full draft schedule here

Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy 2025 and the International Cricket Council (ICC) has not made any official statement yet as they are preparing for all possibilities in case the Indian team declines to travel to neighbouring nation for the marquee event. However, ICC approved a budget of approximately $65 million at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Colombo. As per cricbuzz this budget includes the costs associated with staging a few games outside of Pakistan.

The mega tournament will be played from February 19 and March 9 where there will be a reserve day for the final. The Chief Executives Committee (CEC) approval note states that "PCB has signed Host Agreement and has worked with management to draft an event budget which is submitted to F&CA for approval. Management has also approved an estimate of the increase in the cost of staging the event if it is necessary to play some matches outside Pakistan." The ICC, however, did not discuss what will be the venue/venues 'outside Pakistan.'

As per Cricbuzz, ICC have shared the draft schedule with stakeholders, including broadcasters and all participating teams. As per the schedule, all India matches will be played in Lahore where the arch-rivals India vs Pakistan clash will take place on March 1.
