India's star all-rounder Deepti Sharma has become the no.1 ranked T20I bowler for the first time in her career. Deepti dethroned Australia's pace-bowling all-rounder Annabel Sutherland. Deepti is slightly ahead of the Australian with a one point lead (737).
In the T20I series opener against Sri Lanka on December 21, Deepti claimed a wicket. She conceded 20 runs from her quota of four overs. The off-spinner bowled a maiden as well.

In the T20I rankings, Jemimah Rodrigues made a huge jump. She went up five places to take the ninth place, surpassing her teammate Shafali Verma. Rodrigues scored an unbeaten 44-ball 69 in the successful run chase of 122 in Visakhapatnam.
Wolvaardt goes past Mandhana
Meanwhile, India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana lost the top spot in ICC ODI batter rankings to South Africa skipper Laura Wolvaaardt. The South African opener has 820 rating points, nine more than Mandhana.
Wolvaardt has been in terrific form against Ireland. The 26-year-old has scored two consecutive centuries. Recently, she had also surpassed Mandhana's tally of runs (5,322 runs) in the format. Wolvaardt averages 52.16 after 122 ODIs. She has scored 5,477 runs including 13 tons and 38 fifties. On the list of most tons in women ODIs, she is only behind Mandhana (14) and former Australia captain Meg Lanning (15).
Marizanne slips in ODI all-rounder and bowling rankings
There was a change in the ODI all-rounders ranking as well. South Africa's Marizanne Kapp (415 rating points) slipped one place to third. The second spot is now occupied by West Indies' Hayley Matthews (420 rating points). Australia's Ashleigh Gardner is way ahead of everyone with 498 rating points. Deepti held on to the fourth spot, just ahead of Sutherland.
Marizanne slipped to the third spot in ODI bowler rankings as well. Australia spinner Alana King moved to second place. England's Sophie Ecclestone continues to be at the top.
