In a massive setback for South Africa, veteran white-ball batter David Miller has been ruled out of the three-T20I series against England which is scheduled to start on September 10. Miller sustained a hamstring injury during the Hundred 2025 and is yet to recover from the injury.
“Miller sustained the injury during the final week of The Hundred while representing the Northern Superchargers. He has been unable to recover in time for the T20I series, which gets underway at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on Wednesday,” Cricket South Africa (CSA) said in a statement on the eve of tri-series opener.
South Africa have decided not to name a replacement for injured Miller.
