England captain Harry Brook stepped up when his side needed him the most during the first ODI of the three-match series against New Zealand. The England skipper went on to play a fine knock and though he didn't get much support from the other end, he went on to form a key partnership of 87-run partnership alongside Jamie Overton to take his side close to the 150-run mark. He then formed decent stands with the tailenders to carry the visitors over the 200-run mark and ended up reaching his century in the process.
