Pakistan captain Babar Azam reveals that he speaks with Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, Joe Root whenever he gets an opportunity to improve his batting technique. Babar also said that he learned a lot from these cricketers. The 29-year-old batter is currently going through the rough patch of his career. Babar Azam-led side failed to perform in the Asia Cup 2023, ODI World Cup 2023 and they touched rock bottom in the T20 World Cup 2024 where the Men in Green failed to qualify for the Super 8 of the marquee event. This is the first time in the history of the T20 World Cup where Pakistan failed to qualify for the group stage.

Babar parised Kohli during the interaction with former South Africa captain Ab de Villies on his youtube channel MR. 360.

“I talk a lot to Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson & Joe Root. They are always ready to give you advice which helps you a lot. I have learned a lot from these players” said Babar.

Babar faced a lot of heat after his team failed to perform in the T20 World Cup 2024 and there are chances that PCB will appoint new captain for the team as we witnessed the same after Pakistan's poor outing in the ODI World Cup. The cricket board appointed Shaheen Shah Afridi as his replacement for the white ball and Shan Masood as the new Test captain.

Babar Azam also shared his struggles before joining the Pakistan national cricket team. He said that his family didn't have money but they supported him a lot.

"I don't come from a rich family, and we didn't have money all the time. But my parents supported me a lot. I used to play street cricket growing up, and playing cricket with a hard ball was very difficult" said Babar on Ab de Villiers show.

Babar will now be seen in action in the upcoming two-Test match series against Bangladesh scheduled to start from August 21 in Pakistan.
