The International Cricket Council (ICC) delegation will visit Pakistan this week to inspect the preparations for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. As per Cricket Pakistan, A six-member team consisting heads and representatives from various ICC departments will represent the nation for the marquee event.
This visit is likely to be the final inspection by the ICC before the Champions Trophy. Previously, ICC officials, including pitch consultants, security heads, and event personnel, have conducted three separate visits to review arrangements. added the report.
Sources indicate that the inspection team will evaluate the preparations and offer recommendations for enhancement. Additionally, the ICC is anticipated to release the official schedule for the 2025 Champions Trophy to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) within the next few days.
The ICC delegation is scheduled to tour major venues in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi. Over five days, the team will meet with PCB officials to discuss essential logistical details, such as schedules, practice matches, practice venues, and ticketing.
Additionally, PCB officials are anticipated to provide a comprehensive update on the venue enhancements being made in advance of the prestigious tournament.
When will Champions Trophy 2025 played
Champions Trophy 2025 will reportedly take place next year in February in Pakistan and the match of the marquee event will take place in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi.

Earlier there were reports that Rohit Sharma-led side would not travel to Pakistan but the BCCI vice president Rajeev Shukla called them rumours and the Board is yet to decide whether to send team India to the neighbouring nation. Reportedly, India-centric matches will be played in Lahore only so that the PCB can give security to Men in Blue for the multinational event.
