ILT20 2025-2026's complete schedule has been revealed

The fourth season of the ILT20 will start from December 2

The full schedule for the International League T20 (ILT20) 2025-2026 has been announced. The fourth season of the ILT20 league is slated to kick off from December 2, 2025, with an opening match at the Dubai International Stadium featuring a compelling showdown between the Dubai Capitals and the Desert Vipers.

The opening fixture is particularly significant as it will be a rematch of the previous season's thrilling final. In that encounter, the Dubai Capitals defeated the Desert Vipers by four wickets with only four balls remaining, securing their first-ever ILT20 title in front of more than 25,000 spectators. They join a prestigious list of past champions that includes the inaugural season winners, the Gulf Giants, and the 2024 champions, MI Emirates.

The upcoming season will consist of 34 matches held across three celebrated venues. The Dubai International Stadium will host the largest share with 15 fixtures, followed by the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi with 11 matches, and the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, which will stage eight matches.

The tournament will follow the same format as previous seasons, starting with a 30-match double round-robin league. The league stage concludes on December 28. The playoffs will begin two days later with Qualifier 1, pitting the top two teams against each other on December 30 in Abu Dhabi. The Eliminator, featuring the third and fourth-placed teams, is set for January 1 in Dubai, followed by Qualifier 2 on January 2 in Sharjah. After a one-day break, the final will take place on January 4 in Dubai.

A key challenge for the season is the scheduling conflict with South Africa's SA20 league, which starts on December 26. This two-week overlap will force players to choose between the two major T20 leagues, as the ILT20 concludes on January 4, while the SA20 continues for an additional three weeks.
