'I'm not afraid of anything...': Vinod Kambli reacts to Kapil Dev's proposal of helping him during struggling phase

Vinod Kambli accepts former 1983 World Cup-winning skipper and former teammate Kapil Dev’s proposal to improve his health and financial condition. The former India cricketer has high hopes of solving his health and financial issues and has no problem going to rehab once again and getting his life back on track. The India star has been recently suffering through a lot of health and financial issues which was noticeable from his appearance during the memorial of his coach Ramakant Achrekar

Kambli's condition came into the limelight after he was seen having an emotional chat with former teammate Tendulkar. After Kambli's clip, there are a lot of talks about the problems he has been facing which also includes some close friends and former teammates.

India's legendary captain Kapil Dev who is Kambli's former teammate has proposed to take care of his treatment to make sure he gets his health back on track. Kambli has already visited rehab 14 times, he has accepted the proposal of the Haryana Hurricane during an interview with Vivek Lalwani on YouTube.

“Sure, I have no hesitation (to enter rehab), because until I have my family with me, I'm not afraid of anything, anybody. I will complete it and return it. I will come back," said Kambli.

 

Kambli who was the owner of properties worth more than INR 8 Crores during his playing days. Now, there are reports that Kambli has been living on the pension given by the BCCI which is not more than INR 30,000.

Kambli has played 121 matches for India including 17 Tests and 104 ODIs. The batter scored 3561 international runs. He was the first Indian to smash back-to-back centuries in Test cricket.
