India fast bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna struggled on Day 1 of the second unofficial Test between India A and Australia A at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Australia A scored a strong total of 350 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 84 overs. Jack Edwards was the top scorer with an impressive 88 runs.

Siraj, who is making his cricketing comeback after the five-Test match series of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025, bowled 13 overs, giving away 73 runs and managed to take the wicket of Sam Constas, who scored 49 runs off 91 balls. Krishna, meanwhile, bowled 14 overs, conceding 63 runs and picking up 1 wicket.

Manav Suthar was the pick of the bowlers for India, picking 5 wickets for the first time in his first-class career. He really shook up the Australian batting lineup. Early on, Sam Constas and Nathan McSweeney put together a solid opening stand of 74 runs from 164 balls.

Thanks to their efforts, Australia crossed 200 runs comfortably. Edwards continued to score quickly, hitting 11 fours and a six before being dismissed in the final session.

From India’s bowling side, Siraj and Krishna took one wicket each, Gurur Brar picked up two, but it was Manav Suthar who stood out with his five-wicket haul. Earlier, the first unofficial Test between India A and Australia A ended in a draw.
