Pakistan women were nowhere in the match from the word go. Their decision to bat first backfired as they got off to a horrific start. Opting to bat first, Pakistan struggled to build momentum, managing to score only 67 runs in 20 overs, losing seven wickets in the process. Komal Khan was their top scorer, contributing 24 runs off 32 balls.

India's bowling attack was led by Sonam Yadav, who rain riot with the ball, taking four wickets for just six runs in four overs. With a stunning bowling display, India chased down the target without breaking a sweat.

India overhauled the lowly target of 68 runs in just 7.5 overs, losing only one wicket. Left-handed batter G Kamilini was the standout performer, remaining unbeaten on 44 runs off 29 balls. Her innings included four fours and three sixes, showcasing her aggressive batting style.

Pakistan will next face Nepal on Monday, December 16 in their second match of the tournament.
