“I told you guys about this Jordan Hermann guy last year. Got to meet him in Port Elizabeth at the opening game of the @SA20_League tournament the other night and had a good chat. Not only  impressed with his talent, but also the character of the man! Very bright future here playing well at the moment,” De Villiers wrote in a tweet last year during the SA20 league.

Jordan’s superb knock

On September 3, Jordan's brother, Rubin got out early after South Africa A captain Marques Ackerman won the toss and opted to bat first. As the slog overs approached, he accelerated. In the 45th over, he breached the 150-run mark in 137 balls. His 186-run knock from 153 balls helped South Africa A post 348/5. He hit 26 fours and three sixes in his knock.

Glenn Phillips’ brother wreaks havoc

Jordan did the damage with the ball as well, getting the wicket of Joe Carter for a 48-ball 47. In the 30th over, Dale went after Nqabayomzi Peter, hitting him for two sixes and three fours. Will Jordan be picked in ODI squad?
