Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz who was featured in the Test series against India gifted a bat to star batter Virat Kohli. He was gifted a bat made by the company he started alongside national teammate Imrul Kayes, ‘MKS Sports’. He also gifted a bat to Indian captain Rohit Sharma as well. 

Mehidy gesture came after Kohli gifted his signed bat to veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan as his farewell gift after India won the second Test match by seven wickets. India vs Bangladesh's second Test match was Shakib's last overseas Test outing as he announced that his red-ball game will be an upcoming New Zealand tour to Bangladesh only if the cricket board provide him security. 

A video is going viral on social media where Virat Kohli can be seen with Mehidy Hasan Miraz. After receiving the bat, Kohli said that “Khoob bhalo achi (it's very good),” said Kohli with a smile, referring to the bat manufactured by Miraz's company. He added, “Wish you all the best. Keep doing the good work.”

Virat Kohli failed to perform in the first Test match as he just scored 6 and 17 runs respectively in two innings after that the former India captain scored 47 and 29 not out in the second Test match which was played at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. 

Mehidy Hasan Miraz's upcoming outing for Bangladesh

Mehidy Hasan Miraz will now most likely to feature in the three-match T20I series against India which is scheduled to start from October 6. Suryakumar Yadav will lead Men in Blue in the shortest format of the game.

After finishing the two-match Test series against Bangladesh, Virat Kohli has travelled back to London and now he will most likely to feature in the upcoming three-Test match series against New Zealand after that he will travel to Australia along with the Indian Cricket team to feature in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
