Why Jemimah Rodrigues missed out of India's playing XI?

Apart from that, Arundhati Reddy replaced Kranti Gaud for the rubber dead clash at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram. BCCI took their 'X' to reveal that the star batter missed out on his spot due to weakness arising from a mild fever. 

"Jemimah Rodrigues was unavailable for selection in the 4th T20I in Thiruvananthapuram due to weakness arising from mild fever. The BCCI Medical Team is closely motoring her progress and recovery," the Indian team said in a release.

Sri Lanka opted to bowl

Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu won the toss and elected to field against India. However, India hold an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.

India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana becomes the fastest woman to score 10000 international runs. Smriti took 281 innings to reach this milestone. Earlier, Mithali Raj held the record with 291 international outings.
