India star batter Jemimah Rodrigues was not included in Harmanpreet Kaur-led side's playing XI for the fourth T20I against Sri Lanka due to weakness. India added Harleen Deol in place of Jemimah Rodrigues.

"Jemimah Rodrigues was unavailable for selection in the 4th T20I in Thiruvananthapuram due to weakness arising from mild fever. The BCCI Medical Team is closely motoring her progress and recovery," the Indian team said in a release.

Sri Lanka opted to bowl

Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu won the toss and elected to field against India. However, India hold an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
