Former West Bengal cricketer Shreevats Goswami who was Virat Kohli's under 19 teammate slams Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant for his bizzare tweet on Neeraj Chopra ahead of his final event. Neeraj will be seen in action on August 8 in the men's javelin throw final event where he will look to repeat his last edition's heroics by winning gold medal for India.

India wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant who was recently involved in the series against Sri Lanka said that if Neeraj won a gold medal in Paris Olympics 2024 then he will give 100089 Rupees giveaway to lucky winner who likes the tweet and comment most on his post.
"If Neeraj chopra win a gold medal tomorrow. I will pay 100089 Rupees to lucky winner who likes the tweet and comment most . And for the rest top 10 people trying to get the atttention will get flight tickets . Let’s get support from india and outside the world for my brother" posted Pant.

Shreevats said that he is confused and suggested Pant to get rid of PR.
“I am confused ? Yeh sab kya chal raha hai ? Rishabh , you need to get rid of your PR mere bhai ..” posted Goswami.

Neeraj Chopra javelin throw final event
Neeraj Chopra who was the last Olympics gold medallist will compete in the men's javelin throw event final where he will be the only Indian. The Indian Olympic gold medallist will look to clinch another medal for India. Indian athletes are failed to perform in this edition of the Olympics. They just clinched three bronze medals and that too in shooting. Vinesh Phogat was the only Indian contender who confirmed the silver medal for India but she was disqualified due to being overweight.
