Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal's wedding has been postponed after the bride's father rushed to the hospital for not feeling well. Smriti Mandhana's father, Srinivas Mandhana, reportedly felt uneasy while preparations for the wedding were underway at the Mandhana Farm House in Samdol, Sangli, Tuhin Mishra, Smriti's business manager, confirmed.

Sports Tak understands that Mandhana's father has not been feeling well since this morning, and he was rushed to the hospital in Sangli. Currently, he is under observation, and various tests are being conducted. Sources close to the development also confirmed that Mandhana was very clear that, in these circumstances, she doesn't want to get married, and that's why the decision has been taken to postpone the marriage indefinitely.

The couple were supposed to get married on this date
Smriti and Palash were supposed to get married on November 23 in Sangli, Maharashtra, with close family members and fans in attendance. Many players from India’s Women’s World Cup-winning teammates were also with Smriti during the celebrations.

In the past few days, several photos and videos from their Bollywood-style pre-wedding events have been shared on social media. But now, the couple will have to wait a bit longer before their marriage becomes official.
The celebrations had been planned on a grand scale, from colourful Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies to friendly cricket matches between teams led by the bride and the groom. Friends, family and the couple had prepared an entire festive weekend around the wedding.
