Team India shatters many records.

They register India's highest ever ODI score.

At home, the Women in Blue are continuing their scorching streak. The Smriti Mandhana-led team broke a huge record against the Irish team in the second ODI and then they shattered the record again in the third ODI at the same venue on Wednesday after posting 435/5. India registered their highest-ever and fourth-highest score in the Women's ODI history with the help of centuries from Smriti Mandhana (135) and Pratika Rawal (154). Their previous best was 370 which they scored in the second ODI. The moment the score went past 418 runs, they registered the record for the highest score by an Indian team across both men's and women's ODIs.

Smriti Mandhana smashed her 10th ODI century in the match, whereas Pratika Rawal hit her maiden WODI ton. Mandhana became the first Indian player to reach the double digits in WODI hundreds with her tenth century, which also happened to be the fastest century ever achieved by an Indian women player (70 balls). On the other hand, turned her knock big as she scored 154 runs, which is the third-highest individual score by an Indian batter in WODI after Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma.

Indian women's team create history

The Mandhana-led side not only broke the record for the highest-ever score in WODIs on Indian soil. The previous was held by Australia with 412 runs against Denmark back in 1997. However, another astonishing feat it that they have now registered the highest score by an Indian team in ODIs, this includes both the men's and women's teams.

The previous best was 418/5 by the Indian Men's team against the West Indies. The way the Indian team has performed in this series so far has shown nothing but absolute dominance. They are already leading the series 2-0 and a clean sweep series victory seems inevitable from here.
