Bangladesh's star wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das has slammed Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan after the recently concluded Test series, saying the star batter showed lack of sportsmanship by not shaking hands with the entire Bangladeshi side after the end of either match. Das labeled Rizwan's conduct as "unprofessional" and said it was very disappointing to see this kind of behaviour from a star international player.

Litton Das slams Mohammad Rizwan
Bangladesh clinched a dominating 2-0 win over Pakistan in a home Test series, making it four straight wins in Test against their Asian opponents. The clash was filled with intensity, as multiple heated exchanges took place between players, especially Litton Das and Mohammad Rizwan. Various clips from the two matches went viral on social media, showing Litton actively involved in on-field banter with the Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter.

Now the star Bangladesh player claimed that the tension was carried beyond the field as well.
“I disliked one thing. Whatever happens on the field, once the game is over, everyone should shake hands. After the first Test defeat, Rizwan didn’t come to shake our hands, which is very bad. No matter how big a player he is, that shouldn’t have happened, whether you lose or win," said Litton to Prothom Alo.
Litton Das calls Rizwan "unprofessional"
While talking further, Litton claimed that the same thing took place after the conclusion of the second Test match and raised questions on Rizwan's behaviour towards the Bangladesh team.
“He did the same thing in the second Test as well. He may have an issue with me, but the entire Bangladesh team did nothing to him. When they play against us next time, should they have any expectation from us? You didn’t show respect to the Bangladesh team. The whole Pakistan team did handshakes with us. Only he (Rizwan) didn’t. It was fully unprofessional of him. Both teams are playing for pride. But you should shake hands no matter the outcome. This act from Rizwan sticks out," added Litton Das.
However, there is clear evidence to claim whether Mohammad Rizwan did or did not shake hands with the Bangladesh players after either Test. However, if the allegations are true, it would be contrary to the stance previously taken by some Pakistan players, including Salman Agha, who slammed India for not engaging in post-match handshakes during certain games in the last year.
