Siraj's superlative performance in the final Test garnered widespread praise, particularly from Virat Kohli's sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra. Siraj was instrumental in India's six-run victory, which leveled the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at 2-2. Throughout the series, Siraj was the highest wicket-taker and bowled a remarkable 185.3 overs across five matches, showcasing his endurance and skill.

Bhawna took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to the fast bowler. Her post included two slides: one captured an emotional Siraj crouching at Lord's, and the other celebrated the team's victory at The Oval.

Virat Kohli, who retired from Tests right ahead of England tour, also couldn't stop himself from lauding Team India after sensational show at The Oval.

“Great win by Team India. Resilience and determination from Siraj and Prasidh has given us this phenomenal victory. Special mention to Siraj, who will put everything on the line for the team. Extremely happy for him @mdsirajofficial @prasidh43," Kohli's social media post read.

Heroes' welcome for Mohammed Siraj in Hyderabad

Returning to Hyderabad on Wednesday, Mohammed Siraj was greeted as a hero after leading India's pace attack in the absence of the rested Jasprit Bumrah. After flying from London to Mumbai, Siraj, dressed in black casuals and accompanied by fielding coach T. Dilip, was immediately met by fans at the domestic terminal eager for selfies and autographs. The enthusiastic reception continued upon his arrival in Hyderabad, where more fans greeted him with cheers, celebrating his sensational performance.
