There are some players who don't want to think about the game when they are on a break, and then there are players like Marnus Labuschagne who can't get enough of the game. On his time off, Labuschagne can be seen playing cricket in a wild setting with his dog as a fielder.
On a pitch in the woods, he can be seen using every shot in his quiver. The bounce was very uneven but Labuschagne managed to keep his wicket intact somehow.
Labuschagne wrote in a Twitter post, "Some campsite cricket on one of the rougher pitches I’ve ever played on. It also produced a certified "lowey".
While replying to one of his followers, the Aussie also revealed that he managed to score a ‘hard fought’ half-century in tough conditions.
The 28-year-old recently featured in the Test series against Sri Lanka. He could not do much in the ODI format with a high score of 31 in the five-ODI series. However, he showed his class in the second Test of the two-Test series at Galle. He scored 104 in this first innings, his seventh hundred in the Test format.
Labuschagne is unlikely to feature in the T20I series against India. He is expected to be seen in August when Zimbabwe tour Australia next month for three-ODI series. It will be followed by another ODI series against New Zealand at home. After the completion of T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, West Indies will play three T20Is and two Tests against them.
Labuschagne recently posted a video of him doing catching practice on the beach with wind blowing at 55km/h.
