India A is facing Australia A in 2nd unofficial Test.

Aussies are in a strong position currently.

India A bowler Prasidh Krishna lost his temper after the on-field umpires refused his request to change the ball On Day 2 of the second unofficial Test match against Australia A at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday. Disappointed with the state of the ball, Krishna went to umpire Gerard Abood in the 28th over of Australia A's innings to ask for a change. Nevertheless, despite Krishna's worries, Abood motioned for play to resume.

Prasidh Krishna showed the umpire the ball and was clearly discussing its condition with the umpire on the field. India Fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed and captain Ruturaj Gaikwad were also involved in the conversation, in which the umpire appeared to be giving Prasidh Krishna an explanation regarding the ball. Although the discussion was unclear, the commentators speculated that the ball might have been sprayed with a green dye or "paint." To make the ball sparkle from one end, captain Ruturaj Gaikwad cleaned it. After this little conversation, the match resumed.

Former Australian cricketer Rob Quiney on air, stated that the India A seamer appeared quite 'unhappy'. "They’re talking about a bit of potential mud on the ball; making sure it’s okay to get it out of the seam. I’m not sure if it’s an aesthetics thing," Quiney observed.

As the over went on, Krishna's discontent became increasingly noticeable. On the next delivery, Australia A's top scorer Marcus Harris guarded the ball back to him. Krishna then threw the ball fiercely back towards Harris, causing two overthrows.

"It was a bit of frustration, and it was interesting in the buildup to that ball when the ball was given to him … he wanted the umpire to have a second look at it," Quiney commented.

With final figures of 4 for 50, Krishna was the best bowler for India A. The other wicket-takers were Khaleel Ahmed (2/56) and Mukesh Kumar (3/41).
