India's star wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul did not find a bidder in the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2026 auction on June 5. Rahul had a base price of Rs 2 lakh but still there were no bids as his availability for the state T20 franchise tournament is not confirmed. The auctioneer mentioned the fact when his name came up for a bid and the Test vice-captain remained unsold.

The Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2026 is scheduled to begin on June 20 and the final will be played on July 12. Rahul is currently with Team India for the one-off Test against Afghanistan which begins on June 6. After that, he will play in the three-ODI series which begins on June 13 and ends on June 20.

While Rahul is unlikely to be part of the T20I sides for series on UK tour (Ireland and England), he will be in the squad for three-ODI series against England from July 14 to 19. The veteran batter will have a few weeks off but is likely to spend the time with his family as India have a busy Test and ODI schedule ahead.

Rahul’s numbers in IPL 2026

The Delhi Capitals (DC) opener amassed 598 runs from 14 games, averaging 45.61 and scoring at a strike rate of 174.51. This is his best strike rate in an IPL season. He scored a century and five fifties in the season.
