The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) signed the likes of Lauren Bell, Pooja Vastrakar, Arundhati Reddy, Grace Harris and more in the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 mega auction. They had come into  the auction with a purse of INR 6.15 crore after they had spent a lot in retaining four of their core players for the upcoming season. They had retained the likes of Smriti Mandhana, Ellyse Perry, Richa Ghosh and Shreyanka Patil for the next edition.

The WPL auction is being held in New Delhi. A total of 276 players are set to go under the hammer while there are 73 slots available in the squads for the five franchises. This is the first time that a mega auction is being held in the tournament's history. Notably, the upcoming edition will be the WPL's fourth.

Lauren Bell (INR 90 lakh), Pooja Vastrakar (INR 85 lakh), Arundhati Reddy (INR 75 lakh) and Grace Harris (INR 75 lakh).

In the previous season, RCB had finished fourth on the standings and had failed to qualify for the playoffs.They were only able to collect six points out of a possible 16 and won just three games. It was a forgettable campaign for the franchise, who had  come out as champions in WPL 2023 by defeating the Delhi Capitals in the final. The Smriti Mandhana-led side will be hoping to improve their performance in the upcoming edition of the WPL.
