Mouctar Diakhaby's 15th minute opener set the tone for the visitors as they were leading at the half time at the iconic Santiago Bernabeu. The home side were quick to respond as they equalised five minutes into the second half.

However, Hugo Duro's 95th minute winner seal the deal for Valencia as they claimed all three points and handed a major blow to Real Madrid in their title defense. The loss saw Los Blancos drop points as they are now three points behind league leaders, Barcelona as they have a game in hand.

La Liga title? Now it's more difficult, Ancelotti offered a candid take on his side's league title hopes (as per Madrid Xtra).

Real Madrid are on course for a maiden continental treble after defeating Real Sociedad 5-4 on aggregate to reach Copa del Rey final. The match will be played on April 26 against their arch rivals Barcelona.

But before that, they meet Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League quarter final first leg which will be played on April 8. Their one and only meeting in the Champions League was way back in 2005-06 season when Ancelotti's side fell 1-0 on aggregate in the round of 16.

Mikel Arteta reflects on Everton draw ahead of Real Madrid clash

In the Premier League, Arsenal were handed a major blow to their title hopes after they dropped points on Saturday. They suffered a 1-1 draw at the hands of Everton and are now 11 points behind league leaders Liverpool (73), who have a game in hand.

The visitors started the match well as Leandro Trossard got them ahead in the 34th minute after being assisted by Raheem Sterling. But, the Toffess hit back in the second half as Iliman Ndiaye got the hosts back on level terms.

Especially with the result, I'm very unhappy, Arteta told TNT Sports (as per the BBC). It is a tough place to come. They are a team that is very physical and direct.

The start of the second half was very poor. We gave the ball away, were very insecure and then the decision with the penalty comes. For me, it is never a penalty.

The Gunners must put this draw behind them and gear for the upcoming clash against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
