Lewandowski, kicked off his account in this season's competition by scoring in the 4-2 win at Slavia Praha last week. That broke a tie with Cristiano Ronaldo (38) for the most number of Champions League teams scored against, standing on pole with Lionel Messi.
Having stayed goalless in the first five Champions League games this campaign, the former Bayern Munich forward produced his team's fourth goal 20 minutes from time in the Czech capital after Slavia had led inside 10 minutes. By scoring against Copenhagen on Matchday eight, Lewandowski will go level with Messi for scoring against 40 different Champions League sides.

Lewandowski's goal against Slavia last week marked the 15th straight Champions League season he has scored in, three behind the record jointly held by Messi and Real Madrid icon Karim Benzema.
