Harry Kane is entering the last year of his deal with Bayern Munich. However, the English star has provided some good news to the fans, which might be a big relief. Kane has confirmed that discussions over a new contract with the Bundesliga side are set to begin in the coming days, as the England captain enters the final year of his current deal.

Harry Kane breaks silence on contract talks with Bayern Munich as last year nears
Speaking on Monday after returning from post-World Cup rest, the 33-year-old striker said:
“I only have one year left on my contract, so now is the time to talk about it.”
The English player added:
“We’ll discuss it next week or the week after. Both sides are completely relaxed about it.”
Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023 and has since established himself as one of Europe’s most prolific forwards. He scored 61 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions in the 2025-26 season and has helped the club secure multiple Bundesliga titles along with domestic cup success.
Kane’s existing contract runs until the summer of 2027. Earlier reports indicated mutual interest in an extension, with Bayern keen to retain their leading marksman despite previous enquiries from clubs including Barcelona.
Club officials have previously expressed optimism about keeping Kane in Munich for the longer term. Talks are expected to progress in the next fortnight as Bayern prepare for the new Bundesliga campaign, beginning with the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup against Borussia Dortmund.
