Bayern Munich drop points for a second straight league game after a tense draw.

Harry Kane and senior Bayern figures voice frustration over officiating decisions.

Bayern Munich were left frustrated on Saturday night after being held to a 2-2 draw by Hamburg in north Germany, with Harry Kane and several senior figures openly critical of the referee’s performance.

The result marked Bayern’s second consecutive Bundesliga game without a win, despite Kane finding the net.

The flashpoint came in the first half when Hamburg were awarded a penalty after Joshua Kimmich tripped Nicolai Remberg inside the box. Kane immediately protested the decision but was dismissed by the referee.

The Arsenal loanee converted the spot-kick calmly, putting the hosts ahead and igniting visible anger among Bayern players.

Harry Kane and Diaz respond, but Hamburg hit back

Bayern showed character to claw their way back into the contest. Kane struck from close range to restore parity, continuing his strong scoring form.

Luis Díaz then made an instant impact after being introduced at half-time, finishing a move created by Michael Olise to give Bayern Munich the lead and register Olise’s 15th assist of the season.

However, the advantage was short-lived. Hamburg responded through Luka Vuskovic, who powered past Alphonso Davies and headed home William Mikelbrencis’ cross.

The defender was dominant at the back and succeeded in unsettling Harry Kane, who grew increasingly frustrated as chances were blocked and appeals went unanswered.

Bayern fury spills over after full-time

Bayern repeatedly surrounded the referee throughout the match, believing they deserved additional penalties. While those appeals were waved away, the sense of injustice lingered long after the final whistle.

According to Sport1, Kane was heard in the dressing room saying “not at this level,” while teammate Josip Stanišić described the refereeing display as “catastrophic.” Bild further reported Harry Kane calling the official “the worst I've ever met in football.”

Club captain Manuel Neuer also weighed in, stating: “If the referee is a topic of conversation after the game, that's never a good sign.” Sporting director Max Eberl echoed the sentiment, claiming the referee was “overwhelmed” by the occasion.

For Bayern Munich, the dropped points and post-match fallout only add pressure as questions grow over consistency and control in crucial moments.
