Inter Milan secured their 21st Serie A championship on Sunday, with manager Cristian Chivu celebrating alongside his players as the club dramatically claimed the Scudetto. This comes after their 2-0 victory over Parma at the San Siro on Sunday.

The victory marks the Nerazzurri’s latest domestic triumph and comes in Chivu’s debut season as head coach after he succeeded Simone Inzaghi. It marks the first senior trophy as a manager for Chivu, who played 168 times for Inter from 2007 to 2014. Additionally, he left Parma to be appointed Inter's manager in June 2025. 

Chivu, a former Inter defender and key member of the club’s 2010 treble-winning team under José Mourinho, has guided the side to league glory in his maiden campaign at the helm. The Romanian tactician at the heart of jubilant scenes with his squad, underscoring a seamless transition from pitch to dugout for the club legend. 

The title adds to Inter’s storied history and further cements Chivu’s legacy at the San Siro. Having lifted the Champions League, Serie A, and Coppa Italia together in 2010 as a player, the 44-year-old now delivers silverware as a coach, rewarding the club’s faith in promoting from within.
