Martinelli received a lot of backlash on the internet, after which the Gunners star texted Bradley to apologise

Liverpool manager Arne Slot is concerned about Conor Bradley’s injury after the Reds defender sustained what looked like a serious injury. The Northern Irish player went down in agony and clutched his left knee while he hit the deck on Thursday.

It happened when the Liverpool star seemingly landed on the pitch in an awkward position while clearing a ball. Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli attempted to shove him off the pitch as he thought the Reds player was trying to waste time.

Martinelli was captured dropping the ball on Bradley while the Gunners attempted for a late goal. As Martinelli tried to shive Bradley off the pitch, the Liverpool player was injured before he received treatment and was then stretchered off.

After the game, which ended in a goalless draw, Slot said:

"I think if a player of ours is on the floor, people might know by now that 100 out of 100 times there is something wrong with the player.”

Liverpool manager further stated:

“You don't like to see a player moved if he might have such a big injury. We don't know yet.”

As he showed his concern for the injury, Slot further told:

“I am afraid another injury have come up today. Let's hope for the best but I fear the worst for Conor Bradley.”

Meanwhile, following the incident, Martinelli received a lot of backlash on the internet, after which the Gunners star texted Bradley to apologise. On his Instagram story, the Arsenal forward revealed that he exchanged texts with the player and wished him luck for his recovery.
