Manchester United are reportedly in talks with Arda Guler, as they aim to boost their midfield options. Guler, who joined Real Madrid from Fenerbahce in 2022, has established himself as a first-team player in Xabi Alonso's team this season.

Arda Guler to join Manchester United?

The young midfielder has played in every game for Madrid and has made 22 outings for the club so far across all competitions. He has formed a solid partnership with Kylian Mbappe, having assisted the French striker multiple times in the current season.

As per Fichajes, Manchester United have increased pace regarding initial contract for Guler's signature. The Red Devils are impressed by his box-crashing ability and his link-up play ability with forwards. They are also amazed with his link-up play prowess with forwards. 

The report further claimed that Arsenal and Liverpool are also interested in Guler. For the Gunners, deem the player as being able to adapt to different attacking roles, while Merseysiders are aiming to revitalize their attacking creativity.

Manchester United not interested in signing Sergio Ramos

As per ESPN, Manchester United have no interest in signing Sergio Ramos, as the defender searches for his next club. The 39-year-old defender, left Monterrey this month after the expiry of his contract.

Upon his contract expiration with the Mexican club, he has since linked with a move to Manchester United, but ESPN refuted the reports, saying that the Red Devils are not interested in signing Ramos and no talks have taken place.

Ramos played with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, where the pair achieved most of their success. Ronaldo represented United across two different stints before joining Al-Nassr, where he currently plies his trade.

On United's part, it is said that they will get new players in the January transfer window, even though some of their key players could be unavailable during that period. The Red Devils sit sixth in the Premier League table and will face Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Monday, December 15.
