What's Next for Manchester United?

Manchester United, on the other hand, were left with disappointment. Having gone trophyless and certain to finish near the relegation zone, the 2024-25 season can be hailed as one of the worst in the rich history of the club. Normally, a season like this leaves a manager sacked, but considering the situation at the club, where Amorim wasn't given the leeway to make his signings after arriving and had to play the worn-out squad left by Erik ten Hag, an exception can be made on this occasion. However, Amorim is willing to accept his fate in case the club decides that his time is up.

While it is a new low for United, trusting the manager and giving him at least one full season, along with the liberty to make signings, could be the first step on the journey of miles.
