According to report Calciomercato, the Magpies have made their mind for a future without Sandro Tonali in the squad, as they have marked Juventus' Khephren Thuram as perfect replacement for the Italy international.

Thuram has been a key player for Juventus in the ongoing season, as he offers a versatility in his game, the French player generally plays as a central midfielder but could also feature as a defensive midfielder as well.

However, the Italian heavyweight has no interest in letting Thuram go to any other club as his contract with Juventus will come to an end in 2029 and a proposal of an extension is also on the cards.

Manchester United's interest in Sandro Tonali

According to transfer market expert, Fabrizio Romano, The Red Devils are working very hard to acquire the services of the Italian midfielder. The Newcastle player is also being targeted by the local rivals, Manchester City as well.

On the other hand, Manchester United prefers Nottingham Forest's midfielder, Elliot Anderson as their top target and consider Tonali as their alternative.
