Meanwhile, Bayern manager Vincent Kompany has warned his players to prepare for the "best version" of Real Madrid ahead of their crucial Champions League clash which is slated to be held at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Kompany knows what Real Madrid is in the UCL. The German side coach warned his players to expect the side that recently impressed against Manchester City. Kompany said:

“We have to prepare for the best version of Real Madrid, the one that played against Man City”.

Bayern boss added:

“They're still one of the best teams in Europe”.

These comments come as Bayern gear up for a high-stakes encounter at the Bernabeu, widely regarded as one of the toughest away fixtures in the competition. Kompany's cautious approach highlights the unpredictability of knockout-stage football, where Madrid often elevate their performance despite a mixed domestic season.

Bayern, who have shown strong form including notable results against top opposition, will need to match that intensity to advance. The German side is viewed by many as the favorites, but the Spanish giants' history in the Champions League makes them a constant threat, and the head coach is aware of it.
