Nike has sparked widespread excitement on social media with a striking new campaign image featuring two of the greatest athletes of their generations. The clothing company has posted a picture of football icon Cristiano Ronaldo and NBA superstar LeBron James, and the internet is now going crazy on the internet.

The post, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the official Nike account, carried  the powerful caption, which read: 

It shows Ronaldo and James shirtless in separate recovery ice baths, sharing a fist bump in a minimalist industrial setting, with Nike slides visible on the floor. The image highlighted themes of endurance, recovery, and sustained excellence at the highest levels of sport, and it has become something that everyone has been talking about. 

Both athletes, often hailed as GOATs in their respective sports, continue to compete at elite levels well into their later careers: Ronaldo with Al-Nassr and Portugal, and James with the Los Angeles Lakers.
