Thousands of Ipswich Town supporters invaded the pitch at Portman Road on Saturday, setting off blue smoke flares and sparking wild scenes of jubilation after the club secured promotion back to the Premier League.
The confirmation, which came during the final stages of the 2025/26 EFL Championship season, triggered immediate pitch invasions as fans and players mingled on the field in a classic display of football passion.

Videos circulating on social media captured the packed stadium atmosphere with flares billowing across the stands and supporters flooding the grass in emotional release. Ipswich Town last enjoyed Premier League status in the mid-2000s before a long exile in the lower leagues.
The "Tractor Boys," who were relegated from the top flight after a single season, have bounced back immediately under their management, earning a return to the Premier League with games remaining.
