Former Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller and ex-Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp were seen joyfully embracing the moment as Germany cruised to a dominant 7-1 victory over Curaçao in their 2026 FIFA World Cup opener at NRG Stadium.

The pair, both serving as pundits, were captured high-fiving, clapping, and cheering enthusiastically from the stands alongside fellow legend Bastian Schweinsteiger. The viral clip, widely shared on social media, showed the two football icons sharing a light-hearted and passionate moment as goals flew in for Die Mannschaft.

Klopp and Müller have formed a popular punditry duo for the tournament, bringing sharp analysis and charismatic banter. Their on-air chemistry translated perfectly to the stands, delighting fans who viewed the scenes as a symbol of renewed German unity and excitement heading into the group stages. 

Meanwhile, talking about the game, Germany took control after an early equalizer from Curaçao, the Caribbean side's historic first-ever World Cup goal rattling in six unanswered strikes. Standout performers included Kai Havertz with a brace, while Jamal Musiala and others shone in the rout. The Arsenal star was also honored with the Man of the Match award following his stunning performance and brace.
