As the U.S. presidential election results are here, NHL icon Wayne Gretzky and his family were spotted attending a prominent Republican event hosted by Donald Trump. The gathering, held at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, attracted a number of high-profile personalities, including tech billionaire Elon Musk and professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau.
On Tuesday, Wayne Gretzky’s daughter, Paulina, posted a group photo from the event on her Instagram, where she was seen posing alongside her brother Trevor, husband Dustin Johnson, and their parents, Wayne and Janet Gretzky.
Trevor was wearing a Dodgers sweatshirt paired with a red "Make America Great Again" cap, signaling his support for Trump. Paulina opted for a beige dress, while Janet wore a black ensemble. Both Wayne and Dustin Johnson dressed in classic black evening suits for the occasion.
The exclusive event took place at Mar-a-Lago, a private club that Trump purchased in the 1980s and later transformed into an upscale resort with membership offerings. Among the other notable attendees were UFC President Dana White, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau. The event, featuring dinner and a private gathering to watch election updates, was tightly secured, with bomb-sniffing dogs and restricted access for VIPs.
Dana White on Trump
UFC president Dana White expressed his strong admiration for Donald Trump following his victory in the U.S. elections on Wednesday. Trump, who declared his triumph in Florida after securing a significant lead over Kamala Harris on November 6, has received consistent backing from White throughout his campaign. White, who has been an outspoken supporter of Trump, described him as "the most resilient man" he has ever encountered.
"Nobody deserves this more than him and nobody deserves this more than his family. This is what happens when the machine comes after you. He keeps going forward, he does not quit. He is the most resilient man I have met all my life. His family are incredible people. This is karma, ladies and gentlemen. They deserve it as a family," White said, referring to Trump's victory.
Donald Trump secured a comfortable victory from Republican party defeating Kamala Harris who represented Democratic party.
