The match began with the Pirates taking the lead, managing an All out against the Yoddhas within the first ten minutes. This early advantage, fueled by a series of unsuccessful raids by the Uttar Pradesh team, set the tone for the game, giving the Bihar-based team an eight-point lead.

The spotlight was on Pardeep Narwal, known for his raiding prowess, as he started the match with a few successful raids. However, Sachin from the Patna side was the game-changer, amassing eight raid points in the first half alone. Although U.P. Yoddhas' defenders, with a Super Tackle from substitute Shivam Chaudhary, attempted a comeback, it wasn't enough to deter the Pirates, who concluded the first half with a comfortable 12-point lead, following another All out against the Yoddhas.

The second half commenced with an explosive performance from Pardeep Narwal, who showcased his raiding skills by eliminating three Patna defenders in a single Super Raid, also completing his Super 10. Despite this effort, the Pirates, led by the experienced Neeraj Kumar, regained their composure. Neeraj's Super Tackle on Pardeep and subsequent successful raids by Manjeet shifted the momentum back to Patna. The Yoddhas suffered their third All out of the match shortly thereafter, as Patna began to solidify their lead.

Sachin continued his remarkable performance throughout the match, becoming a focal point for the Pirates with his all-round capabilities. Although the Yoddhas managed to get the Pirates All out in the final minutes, it wasn't enough to bridge the gap. Patna Pirates ultimately clinched the match with a seven-point lead, marking another triumph in their Pro Kabaddi League campaign.
