Highlights:

Puneri Paltan clinched a commanding 51-36 win over Haryana Steelers.

Jaipur Pink Panthers secured their fourth consecutive victory with a powerful 45-36 win against the Gujarat Giants.

Puneri Paltan clinched a commanding 51-36 win over Haryana Steelers in an electrifying match of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 at Tau Devilal Indoor Stadium in Panchkula. The victory was significantly shaped by Mohit Goyat's exceptional performance, especially notable as he came off the bench to lead Puneri Paltan, who had initially fielded a secondary lineup with the playoffs in sight.

The match began with Akash Shinde propelling Puneri Paltan forward with a dynamic multi-point raid, placing immediate pressure on the Steelers. Despite a defensive stance and a Super Tackle that momentarily averted an early All-Out, the Steelers found themselves trailing as Paltan managed to secure a 12-7 lead with a strategic All-Out.

The second quarter saw the Steelers momentarily seize control, overturning the deficit to lead the game. Vinay's spectacular Super Raid against Abinesh Nadarajan, Pankaj Mohite, and Gaurav Khatri was a game-changer. However, Mohit Goyat's standout performance prevented a Paltan All-Out. Subsequently, Mohammadreza Chiyaneh executed a remarkable Super Tackle, shifting the momentum back to Paltan, who then extended their lead with a second All-Out before halftime.

The second half witnessed the Steelers attempting a resurgence, but Goyat's dominance effectively quashed their efforts. Puneri Paltan then solidified their advantage with a third All-Out, widening the gap further.

Despite a late attempt at a comeback by the Steelers, the initial deficit proved too substantial to overcome. Although a few Super Tackles in the final quarter helped avoid further embarrassment, they could not deter Puneri Paltan from securing a decisive victory, highlighting their strength and strategy as they progress towards the playoffs.

Jaipur Pink Panthers' winning streak intact

The Jaipur Pink Panthers continued their winning streak, securing their fourth consecutive victory with a powerful 45-36 win against the Gujarat Giants in their last league-stage match of Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 in Panchkula on Monday. Arjun Deshwal shone brightly, contributing 13 raid points, while Parteek Dahiya stood out with 14 raid points for his team.

Kicking off the match with aggressive gameplay, the Jaipur Pink Panthers quickly took control, thanks to multi-point raids by Shubham Shelke and V Ajith Kumar, coupled with Reza Mirbagheri's decisive tackle on Rohan Singh, leading to the season's quickest All-Out in just the third minute for a commanding 9-1 lead.

Despite a spirited comeback attempt by the Gujarat Giants, reducing the Panthers to three men on the mat, the defending champions adeptly countered to secure another All-Out by the 16th minute. Arjun Deshwal's dynamic raiding extended their lead significantly, with the Panthers finishing the first half ahead 28-14.

Arjun Deshwal achieved his 16th Super 10 of the season shortly after the second half began, and Sunil Kumar's tackle on Jagdeep contributed to the Panthers' third All-Out, widening the lead to 37-18. Although the Gujarat Giants made a significant effort to close the gap, spearheaded by Parteek Dahiya's Super Raids and a late-game All-Out, their resurgence brought them within nine points at 41-32 with five minutes remaining.

The Gujarat Giants edged closer to another All-Out in the game's final moments, but the Jaipur Pink Panthers held firm, sealing the victory and maintaining their top position in the standings. This win not only highlights the Panthers' strategic prowess and team coordination but also solidifies their reputation as formidable contenders in the league.
